Frankincense was the most commonly used supplement (80%), followed by barley (50%) and guava leaves (40%). Other supplements reported include fenugreek (20%), myrrh (10%), parsley (10%), costus root (20%), and roselle (30%). The “Others” category accounts for an additional 20% of herbal supplement usage. “Others” include the following herbal and each of them has been reported once: gum arabic, cardamom, chia seeds, cinnamon, coriander, cumin, flax seeds, moringa, black seed, oregano, squash.
