Revisiting the “Weekend Effect” on Adult and Pediatric Liver and Kidney Offer Acceptance

In the Group A (adult cases), 90.3% of initial offer acceptances accepted the liver for transplant but 9.7% did not. On the other hand, 94.6% of initial offer declines declined the liver for transplant, but 5.4% did not. In the Group B (pediatric cases), 89.4% of initial offer acceptances accepted the liver for transplant but 10.6% did not. On the other hand, 94.5% of initial offer declines declined the liver for transplant, but 5.5% did not.
