The American Transplant Congress, has become one of the world best meetings in the field on transplantation medicine and immunology. It is well attended by physicians, surgeons, scientists and nurses not only from all USA centers but also from most of the continents. Editorial Board of the Annals of Transplantation asked few Polish physicians who attended last congress to prepare summaries and reviews from the presented papers within the field of their interest. It is our plan to continue such idea also in the future in order to allow many of the Polish, Czech and Hungarian colleagues to learn some new developments in the field on transplantation medicine and biology
