Composite allotransplantations of knee joint, larynx, uterus, abdominal wall, face and penis

Abstract
One of the most important and most spectacular achievements in the fi eld of medicine in the past 10 years are new possibilities of tissue reconstruction with help of composite tissue transplantation. As long as the upper limb transplantation can be considered as standard therapeutic procedures, the status of other composite tissue transplantations is still unclear. The aim of the work is to present a review of the actual situation in the fi led.
