Abstract

Biomplantation is a current direction in advanced medicine. Development of various kinds of implantable biomaterials with given strength characteristics, preservation of vital biochemical properties with a low immunogenity and a high level inductivity of regenerative processes makes studies of biochemical reactions after implantation of biomaterials very pertinent. These will elucidate the peculiarities of regeneration processes at application of different kinds of bioimplantable materials. In this work we have studied the electrolyte exchange and enzyme activity after transplantation using natural materials. The content of macroelements and enzyme activity at auto- and allo-transplantations of Achilles’ tendon were comparatively investigated in thirty Chinchilla rabbits. We investigated blood sera for both groups of animals after tendon transplantations after 7, 14, 21, 45, and 90 days. It was revealed that after transplantation the blood serum sodium titre, amylase and acid phosphatase activities, which were baselined at an earlier time, are the informative data set for predicting the course of regeneration. Application of the developed algorithm in clinical conditions revealed a high prognosis accuracy (84%).
